Dr. Deng is the developer of Ontario Climate Data Portal which has been an official data provider for Climate Change policy making. Welcome Dr. Deng join our team and act as the chief scientist of DeepVisum. 

    Before emigrating to Canada, he was a professor of atmospheric sciences in China and served as deputy dean of the Department of Natural Resources. He was awarded the Annual Research and Teaching Outstanding Leadership Award by the provincial and central governments. Dr. Deng has successfully completed more than 20 research projects and published more than 70 papers in top journals such as Nature, Climate Dynamics and Applied Meteorology and Climatology. In addition, Dr. Deng has extensive experience in big data mining, big data-driven Web application development, machine learning, deep learing and AI applications. In the past few years, Dr. Deng has been very interested in the development of value-oriented meteorological data service models.

    As chief scientist, Dr. Deng directs DeepVisum’s scientific research activities.
